Mainland hydrogen production participates in the construction of China's first 10000 ton hydrogen production project, successfully producing hydrogen to support the development of green energy in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region
On June 29th, our company's water electrolysis hydrogen production device, as the core equipment, was successfully driven and produced hydrogen gas with the joint cooperation of the owner and various suppliers in the early stage. It successfully delivered hydrogen production for the first 10000 ton new energy photovoltaic hydrogen production project in China - the Narosong Industrial Demonstration Project in Ordos City. This project aims to explore new paths for building replicable and scalable new energy hydrogen production demonstration projects, and accumulate valuable experience for the large-scale production and commercial development of green electricity hydrogen production.
The Narisong project is the first batch of integrated demonstration projects for wind solar hydrogen production in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and is currently one of the largest single green hydrogen projects in China. It is the first commercial hydrogen production project of Three Gorges Group to efficiently and closely combine solar energy and hydrogen energy, two clean energy sources. This project is for the preparation of green hydrogen and the comprehensive utilization of green hydrogen and green oxygen. It adopts the alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production process and, for the first time, adopts the Wan'an Pei level IGBT rectification technology. The project utilizes the coal mining backfill area to construct a photovoltaic power station, with an average annual power generation of approximately 740 million kilowatt hours. 20% of this will be directly transmitted to the local power grid, while the remaining 80% will be used for hydrogen production. The project installs 15 sets of 1000Nm3/h (standard cubic meter per hour) alkaline water hydrogen production equipment, with an annual output of about 10000 tons of hydrogen and about 80000 tons of by-product oxygen, mainly used in the chemical and transportation fields.
The Narisun project will efficiently and closely integrate the two clean energy sources of solar energy and hydrogen energy. By utilizing the green electricity generated by solar energy, water will be decomposed into hydrogen and oxygen through an electrolysis device. By exploring a new model of green electricity hydrogen production that is pollution-free and zero emission, it will solve the key problem of power balance and consumption in the high proportion of renewable energy grid connection, and help China improve the overall level of the hydrogen energy "production storage transmission use" industry chain. In the future, mainland companies will continue to focus on the green hydrogen industry, write a chapter in green hydrogen, and empower green development.
